Training Delivered in Five Segments
The Instant Imprints franchise training program gives new franchisees a structured path to opening, operating, and growing their center.
The program includes five segments. Each segment helps new owners prepare for the next step in the process.
Our goal is to provide structure before opening, hands-on support during opening, and coaching after the center begins serving customers.
Five Segments of Franchise Training
Instant Imprints training includes the following segments:
- IIU Pre-Training
- Instant Imprints University (IIU)
- IIU Post-Training
- Opening Support
- FastStart Program
IIU Pre-Training
IIU Pre-Training introduces new franchisees to our systems, equipment, and processes.
New franchisees complete this segment in the field at an approved Training Center. It generally takes place over one week before Instant Imprints University.
As a result, new franchisees begin learning the business before the main classroom-style training starts.
Instant Imprints University
Instant Imprints conducts the IIU Training Program at our Training Center in San Diego.
This one-week program focuses on three important areas of the business:
- Business management
- Customer relationships
- Growing your business
During this segment, franchisees gain a better understanding of the Instant Imprints model and how owners can manage the business effectively.
IIU Post-Training
IIU Post-Training helps new franchisees, or their staff, build basic proficiency in the production tasks that support the business.
New owners complete this segment in the field at an approved Training Center.
- It takes place after Instant Imprints University.
- Franchisees complete it before opening their own center.
- The segment takes approximately two weeks.
This training gives new owners and team members more confidence with the practical work behind customer orders.
Opening Support
Operations experts from our Partner Support Team provide opening support when your center opens for business.
The team helps make sure your center is properly set up and ready when you unlock the door for your first day.
In addition, you receive hands-on support during the first week of business. This gives you access to practical experience while you begin serving customers.
FastStart Program
The FastStart Program helps jump start your business through activity, planning, coaching, and mentor support.
This part of the franchise training program helps you build the habits needed to develop, manage, and grow your center.
FastStart places a strong emphasis on sales development because sales activity is one of the first priorities for any new business.
The program includes regular planning, coaching, accountability, and celebration. In many cases, you and your Area Franchisee meet weekly to plan activity and measure the results that activity creates.
- FastStart takes place in the field, in and around your center.
- The program runs for approximately 15 weeks.
- It generally begins two weeks after your center opens.
Ongoing Support After Training
The 20-week training process starts the relationship. It does not end it.
After opening, franchisees continue receiving support from the Partner Support Team and their local Area Franchisee throughout the term of the franchise.
This ongoing support helps owners keep learning, improving, and building their local business over time.
