Tee It Up for the Troops Golf Tournament: Honor, Remember, Respect
On Monday, September 9, Instant Imprints joined this year’s Tee It Up for the Troops event in Vista, California.
The charity golf tournament took place at Vista Valley Country Club. The club is now known as The Havens Country Club.
The event also took place during the week of the 18th anniversary of 9/11. Across the country, Americans paused to remember the attacks of September 11, 2001.
During the fundraiser, we honored those who served our nation. We also recognized those who continue to serve today.
Tee It Up for the Troops Golf Tournament
Tee It Up for the Troops began in 2005. The family of a soldier serving in Iraq asked what he needed.
He replied, “Forget about me, do something for the soldiers and their families back home.”
That selfless request inspired the organization. Since then, it has hosted fundraising events across the United States.
Instant Imprints Support
Instant Imprints has supported the local chapter for several years. Our team has helped find sponsors, donate time, provide volunteer services, and contribute goods for auctions.
Ralph Askar, President and Chief Executive Officer of Instant Imprints, said the mission means a great deal to the company.
“Our troops devote their lives to serve our country and fight for our freedom,” said Askar. “The least we can do is support them in their time of need.”
Askar also noted that volunteers manage the organization. He added that most of the funds raised support wounded veterans.

Anthony Silva, Co-Owner of BluLight Films, served as the official media sponsor for the event.
Silva said the organization gives his team a chance to create content with a real impact.
He also said BluLight Films believes in supporting military veterans whenever possible.
Honor, Remember, Respect
This event brought people together for an important cause. It helped support military men and women who have served and sacrificed for our freedoms.
After this 2019 event, Instant Imprints plans to encourage more franchisees and customers to support this cause.
