Q Time Thinking – Take 3

Another week has passed.  It's time to take inventory.

The initial shock of the pandemic is wearing off and we are truly starting to embrace our new normal.  My team is continuing to work on adapting to this environment.  We are clearly past the improvise phase; triage is over.

Our clients have been awesome.  We have done some signage and design work for some of the restaurants and butchers that we work with.  They've been patient through the design phase as everyone is remote.  And then Mike, our production manager, is knocking out their posters and other signs nearly immediately after approval is given.  Those in the trades have been very understanding that their work is taking a little longer than usual to complete because we only have one person running everything.  Go Mike!

Hasani and I have been doing some brainstorming to adapt our offerings so our clients can stay relevant to their customer base.  The launch of that is coming very VERY soon.  We have gotten great feedback so far and look forward to the announcement.

All in all, we have been adjusting well to the environment.  We're getting an idea of where our expenses will remain and what we need to do to keep that part going.  BUT, I have also started working on our plan "as if we were normal".  Some of that we will start to execute.  Other parts will wait until we approach an environment closer to what we've known.

My question for you to ponder...

If you were to plot a timeline where the 1st dot is day 1 of quarantine and the last dot is "business as usual", where are you currently on your plan?  How close are you to start doing business again?  How creative have you gotten to get your business operational to some level?

The offer will continue to stand, if you need anything, printing, conversation, brainstorming, or otherwise, do not hesitate to reach out.  I am making new friends that I wouldn't have had the opportunity to connect with if it weren't for this quarantine.
