Q Time Thinking 5.1.2020

It has been a little bit of a weird week.

There was a little bit of a normal feel with us getting busier with the facecoverings.  I even went in and worked late Wednesday night to get our first batch finished to deliver down to Dover first thing Thursday morning.  2 months ago, that would have been with a level of frustration that we weren't able to stay on top of our production schedule.

It felt a little exciting that we had so much production that we needed a couple of extra hours to get everything finished.

I'm feeling a weird vibe in the air.  There's a sense of excitement and anticipation as our local government is talking about plans for how we will reopen business when the time is right. (not getting into that debate, certainly not here)  But just the conversations about what 1st steps will be and what phase 1 will look like... it's very helpful to hear.

Another round of PPP has been opened.  It sounds like many more businesses are being helped in this round. (we're still hopeful, but nothing counts until the funds are in the account)

And I have done some work to get back to the planning for the future of our company.  We had some plans starting before Covid put a huge distraction in our way that demanded attention.

With that, we are looking to have added an Entrepreneurial Internship position.  This candidate will work side-by-side with me and learn all facets of the business.  I'm looking for someone with excitement and energy as we are working towards an exciting new phase of the business.  The goal is to find the right person for our team, train them and hopefully groom them for a significant full time position at the end of the internship.
