Q.
How much will my items cost?
A.
After you save your order, you will be able to contact the store nearest you. They will review your design and provide you with a quote. We will not start your job until you approve the cost.
Q.
What happens when I save a design?
A.
A saved design can be accessed via Customer Login and can have changes made to it.  Saving your design does not obligate you in any way. Once you save your design, you must contact an Instant Imprints location to discuss your design and order specifications and have them provide you with a quote.
Q.
How is my item delivered?
A.
You item can be picked up at the Instant Imprints store nearest you. If you would like it shipped, you can discuss this with the store nearest you.
Q.
What art formats do you accept?
A.
Please upload a high-resolution JPEG, PNG, or GIF image file (300 dpi). If you have a PSD or vector file, you can flatten it and save it as one of the formats above. We do support alpha channels if you are using PNG or GIF files.

The pure white of an image can be removed with the “Remove White” feature. This feature is just for previewing on the shirt. Do not try and remove the white on an image that already has transparency as it will turn those areas black.
Q.
Am I limited to where I can place art or text on my design?
A.

For best results, text and art should be placed within the confines of the box displayed in iDesign.

iDesign will allow you to place items outside of the box, but our store may need to work with you to see if your requested placement is possible.

Q.
I don’t know how to use iDesign or how to design my own item.
A.
Our staff can assist you. Please contact the store nearest you.
Q.
What is the delivery time?
A.
Please contact the store nearest you to discuss the delivery time. Instant Imprints does all of the work in-house and has some of the best turnaround in the industry.
Q.
Will my item look exactly like the file I uploaded?
A.

No. Process printing on textiles is of a lower resolution than ink on paper.  While the color and image quality are good, they are not as crisp or detailed as a photograph. 

If you upload your own art and it is of poor quality, it may need to be redrawn or touched up. Our staff will discuss this with you prior to producing your order. Additional art charges may apply if our staff needs to touch up or redraw your art. We will not start your job until you approve the changes/fees.

Do you charge for artwork?
A.
iDesign allows you to do your own designing, so there is no artwork charge for work done on the online designer.  If you are using your own art, it must be high resolution (300 dpi).  Our staff may be able to work with art of lower resolution, but having them do so will incur a separate art charge. Discuss this with the store nearest you.

Do you offer embroidery?
A.
Embroidery is offered but not through iDesign. Please contact the store nearest you for more information.
Q.
Do you offer quantity price breaks?
A.
Yes, contact the store nearest you for a quote.
Q.
What types of textiles do you offer?
A.
Most of our T-shirts, sweatshirts, etc, are offered in 100% cotton and/or 50/50 cotton/polyester blend. Not all colors are offered in both types of material.
